Program Chiangmai-Chiangrai 7 Days 6 Nights

Day 1 Bangkok-Chiangmai-Doi Suthep Temple+Phuping Palace

            Meet at Chiangmai airport transfer to hotel.

            Visit Watt Phrathad Doi Suthep, the sacred temple in Chiangmai    containing a holy relic of the Lord Buddha. A panoramic view of the city        can be seen from here at 3,400 feet above sea level.

            Transfer back to hotel

Day 2   Elephant Safari (B)

            Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Elephant Camp.

Enjoy seeing how trained elephants are used to help in logging      work and then take an elephant ride (approx.1 hr.), then enjoy ox         cart ride. Lunch will be provided. After lunch, view the             beauty of the             countryside along the Mae Tang River by bamboo raft. An orchid    Farm will be also visited on the way back.

Transfer back to hotel.

 Day 3    Doi Inthanon National Park (B)

    Breakfast at hotel

Visit Doi Intanon, the highest peak in Thailand

(At 8,514 feet above sea level).Walk into the moist hill evergreen forest      to see the plant and especially on birds

Enjoy viewing the wonderful scenery.Continuetosee"Phrathad

 Napamethanidol andPhrathad Napapolpumisiri"

On the way back, a stop will be made at Karen Tribe Village and a

Waterfall (Lunch will be provide).

Transfer Back to Back to hotel and stay overnight.

Day 4 HotSpring-White Temple, Doi Mae Salong Mountain (B)

06:00 a.m.     Breakfast at hotel.

Drive from Chiangmai by minibus to Chiangrai. Stop at a Hot Spa on the way. Visit White Temple, there is one of the most amazing and stunning temples I have ever seen in Thailand. Called officially the "Chapel of Watt Rong Khun" it has become to be known simply as "The White Temple". This is another one of those     places that hasn't been discovered by the Lonely Planet people yet. (One of these days, I will start a website called "Not in the Lonely Planet". Though I am sure that many of these places we have been featuring the last year or so will sooner or later end up in future editions.)

            Lunch at the restaurant

Visit Doi Mae Salong Mountain, Mae Salong in Chiang Rai is very reminiscent of parts of China and much of the area's history has strong Chinese connections During World War II ninety-three companies of soldiers were sent to the Myanmar by the government in Yunnan, China. At the conclusion of the war, the soldiers were forced to stay in Thailand because of the coup d' teat that had occurred back home. General Tuan and his refugee soldiers settled in Doi Mae Salong leaving a presence that can still be felt today. Transfer to Dusit Island Resort.  And stay overnight.

Day 5 Doi Thung-Maesai Border-The Golden Triangle (B)

• 07.30 Breakfast at hotel.

            Drive up to Doi Tung Thailand's late princess mother palace and visit        Maefha Luang Garden.

            Lunch at a restaurant;

            Continue to visit Maesai the opened border between Thailand and             Myanmar,

Continue to visit the Golden Triangle then.Transfer to Dusit Island hotel. And stay overnight.

Day 6  Boat Trip to Karen Tribe Village-Elephant Riding to Waterfall

07.00  Breakfast at hotel.

Enjoy the boat trip along Mae Kok River to Karen Tribe Village and  enjoy visiting the village by elephant riding (Approx: 1 Hour). Transfer   to Hotel and Stay overnight.

Day 7 Chiangrai-Bangkok (B) 

07:30 a.m.     Breakfast at hotel.

            Transfer to Airport Chiangrai by TG.

Bangkok - Aytthaya - Phitsanuloke - Chiangmai - Chiangrai

Day 1              Bangkok-Aytthaya-Phitsanuloke (L) 

08.00        Leave from Bangkok hotel, drive Ayuttaya visit The Royal Palace at Bang Pa-In has a history dating back to the 17^th century. According to a chronicle of Ayutthaya, King Prasat Thong (1629-1656) had a palace constructed on Bang Pa-In Island in the Chao Phraya River. Continue toThe Ayutthaya historical park covers the ruins of the old city of Ayutthaya, Thailand, which was founded by King Ramathibodi I in 1350 and was the capital of the country until its destruction by the Burmese army in 1767.In 1969 the Fine Arts Department began with renovations of the ruins, which became more serious after it was declared a historical park in 1976. The park was declared a UNESCO World heritage site in 1981.

13.0            Apart from the main sights of the ruins in Ayuthaya the countryside is dotted with pockets of other historical sights and tourist spots. The Silapacheep Bang Sai Center, which was created by Her Majesty the Queen as a training center for cottage industry handicrafts is indeed worth the visit. Tourism Authority of Thailand has built villages from the four regions of Thailand and it is very beautiful.

Drive to Phitsanuloke transfer to Amarin Lagoon Hotel . and stay overnight.

Day 2     Phitsanuloke-Sukhothao-Lampang (L)

07.30                   Breakfast at hotel ,

08.30         Visit a Buddha Factory and Wat Phra Srirattana Mahathad. Then leave Pitsanuloke for Sukhothai(Thailand's first capital which flourished from mid 13 th century ),visit Sukhothai Historical Park.Sri Chanalai Historical Park ,lunch ,after lunch Continue to Lampang.Visit Wat Phrathad Lampang Luang.Transfer to Lampang Wiengthong Hotel . and stay overnight.

Day 3              Lampang-Lamphun-Chiangmai (L)

07.30                   Breakfast at hotel.  

08.30         Drive to Lanphun visit Wat Phathad Hariphunchai, Wat Phabuttabat Takpha drive to Chiangmai, Lunch at local restaurant, transfer to Raming Lodge Hotel.and stay over night.

Day 4   An Adventure - Handicraft Village  (L)

After lunch, view the beauty of the countryside along the Mae Tang River by bamboo raft. An orchid Farm will be also visited on the way back.

Drive through many different parts of the   northern capital. Passing residential area, handsome government buildings. Continue to Sankampaeng andBorsang. See Teakwood carving, Silk weaving, Silverware. Lacquer ware and Umbrella making.

Transfer to Raming Lodge Hotel .

Day   5      Chiangrmai-long Neck-Chiangrai (L)

07.30         Breakfast at hotel. Leave Chiangmai in the morning by van for Thaton.Visit Long Neck Village, Hot Sprint, and Lunch on the way, and transfer to Rimkok Resort . in Chiangrai and stay overnight.

Day 8     Doi Suthep Temple-Phuping Palace  (L)
