Elephants at Work & Meo (SG.1)

Visit a jungle area north of the city to see Elephants at work. The program includes a demonstration of how trained elephants are used to help in logging work. Then continue visit MEO Hill Tribe village. A stop is also made at a beautiful Orchid Farm.

City-Temple & Handicraft (SG.2)

 Visit Wat Chedi Luang (AD 1411), where the Emerald Buddha was once enshrined, and destroyed by the earthquake. Wat Phra Singh (AD 1345), where 1,500 years old Buddha image Fine Carvings are to be found is also visited. Drive through many different parts of the northern capital. Passing residential area, handsome government buildings. Continue to Sankampaeng and Borsang. See Teakwood carving, Silk weaving, Silverware. Lacquer ware and Umbrella making.

Doi-Suthep and Phuping Palace (SG.3)

Visit Wat Phrathad Doi Suthep, the sacred temple in Chiangmai containing a holy relic of the Lord Buddha. A panoramic view of the city can be seen from here at 3,400 feet above sea level and continue to Phuping Palace.

 An Adventure (SG.4) 

Enjoy seeing how trained elephants are used to help in logging work and then take an elephant ride (approx.1 hr.), then enjoy ox cart ride. Lunch will be provided. After lunch, view the beauty of the countryside along the Mae Tang River by bamboo raft. An orchid Farm will be also visited on the way back.

 Leave Chiangmai in the early morning for Chiangrai by car. Visit Yao and Akha Hill Tribes. Drive through Chiangsaen. After lunch continue to the Golden Triangle and Mae Sai (The opened borer between Thailand and Myanmar). After that, drive back to Chiangmai. If the time is available a Hot Spring will be also visited.

Doi Intanond National Park (SG. 6)

 Visit Doi Intanond, the highest peak in Thailand (at 8,514 feet above sea level). Walk into the moist hill evergreen forest to see the plant and especially on birds. Enjoy viewing the wonderful scenery. Continue to see”Phrathad Napamethanidol and Phrathad Napapolpumisiri”. On the way back, a stop will be made at Karen Tribe Village and a waterfall (Lunch will be provide).

Hill Tribes and Chiang Dao Cave (SG.7)

Drive from Chiangmai to visit Akha Tribe and Lisu Tribe. Then walk to Karen Tribe Village. After that continue to Pa Long Tribe Village (women wares rattan rings around the waists). Lunch. Afternoon visit Chiang Dao Cave. If the time is available The Orchid Farm will be also visited on the way back.

 Khan-Toke Dinner (SG.8)

Enjoy the Northern Thai traditional Khan Toke dinner and see classical dances and Hill tribe show.

 Mae Hong Son. Lod Cave / Lisu & Lahu Tribes / Fish Cave (SG.9)

Drive from Mae Hong Son to visit Fish Cave. Then continue to Lod Cave, the wonderful of nature. Lunch will be provided.

Continue to visit Lisu and Lahu Tribe Village. Return to Hotel.

Mae Hong Son. City & Temples (SG.10)

Visit Wat Phrathad Doi Kong Moo (1,500 meters), where there is a nice view of the valley. After that continue to see Wat Jong Kham & Wat Jong Klang. Thai Yai or Shan People built Jong Kham nearly 200 years ago. Fish Cave will also be visited.

 Mae Hong Son. Long Neck Tribes (Padong) (SG.11)

Take a boat trip on Pai River to see Padong Tribe, whose woman’s stretch their necks with necks with deep collars of metal.

Mae Hong Son. Elephants Safari (SG.12)

Travel through the surrounding jungles for an elephant back safari. Approx; 1.30 hours.

Chiangrai via Thaton (EX.1)

Day 1     

Leave Chiangmai in the morning by ban for Thaton. See the demonstration

that elephants are using for logging on the way. Lunch at a restaurant Afternoon take a boat trip on Kok River to Chiangrai (approx; 2.30 hours) visit Lahu and Karen Tribes on the way. Transfer to Hotel and stay overnight.

Day 2 

After breakfast at Hotel, visit Akha and Yao Tribe Villages, Lunch at a restaurant, Visit “Mae Sai” the open border of Thailand and Myanmar, the continue to Golden Triangle,

 Return to Chiangmai.

Chiangrai & Doi Tung (EX.2)

Day 1    

Drive from Chiangmai by minibus to Chiangrai. Stop at a Hot Spa on the way. Lunch at Chiangrai. In the afternoon, enjoy the boat trip along Mae Kok River to Karen Tribe Vallage. Transfer to Hotel and stay overnight.

Day 2    

After breakfast at Hotel, drive to Doi Tung, en route view beautiful scenery, Visit Akha Tribe and Thailand’s late princess mother palace. Lunch. After that, continue to Mae Sai, the open border of Thailand and Myanmar, and then continue to Golden Triangle. Return to Chiangmai.

Chiangrai High Light (EX. 3)

Day 1    

Leave Chiangmai for Chiangrai in the morning by minibus. Lunch at Chiangrai. Afternoon enjoys the boat trip along Mae Kok River to Karen Tribe Village and enjoys visiting the village by elephant riding (Approx: 1 Hour). Transfer to Hotel and Stay overnight.

Day 2    

After breakfast at Hotel, drive to Doi Tung; en route view beautiful scenery. Visit Akha and Yao Tribes. Thailand’s late princess mother palace is also visited. Lunch. After that, continue to Mae Sai (the open border of Thailand and Myanmar) and Golden Triangle, and then return to Chiangmai.

Mae Hong Son by Plane (EX.4)

Day 1

Leave Chiangmai in the morning by plane for Mae Hong Son Arrive and transfer to Hotel. Lunch at restaurant. Afternoon take a boat trip on Pai River to see Padong Tribe (Long Neck Women)

Day 2

After breakfast enjoy the natural beauty of Mae Hong Son Jungles by riding on elephant (approx: 1:30 hours).Lunch at restaurant, afternoon leave Mae Hong Son for Chiangmai by plane.

Mae Hong Son By van & plane (EX.5)

Day 1

Leave Chiangmai for visiting a beautiful Orchid Farm. Continue to see Lisu Tribe Village. After that visit “Lod Cave” and Lahu Tribe Village. If the time available the Fish Cave will be also visited before arrive in Mae Hong Son. Stay over night in Mae Hong Son.

Day 2

After breakfast at Hotel, enjoy riding elephant for approx...1:30 hours. Take a boat trip on Pai River to see Padong Tribe Village (Long Neck Tribe).After lunch visit Wat Phrathad Doi Kong Moo on the top of the Mountain, where the scenic of Mae Hong Son City can be seen. After that visit Wat Phrathad Jong Kam and Jong Klang.

Transfer to Mae Hong Son Airport for the flight to Chiangmai.

Trekking

One Day Trek (Sanpatong) Trek.1

Leave Chiangmai early morning by van to Sanpatong.Take an elephant ride (approx...1 hour).Then trek about 35 mins to Meo Village. Drive to a Waterfall. Lunch will be provided. Visit Karen Tribe Village. Enjoy rafting along the river (approx...1:30 hours).Return to Chiangmai.
